IU’s Aquarius Reef Base is a spectacular place. Scientists all over the world use this underwater structure to conduct their research without having to go back to the surface. They are also lucky enough to be surrounded with extremely healthy reef and a plethora of fish diversity. Teens4Oceans has been going on expeditions and working with local scientists at the habiat for years.
Aquarius is one of our favorite cameras for many reasons. First of all you get to access the world of various researchers who are calling the Reef Base home. What makes the ecosystem so interesting is that the structure has become a hot spot for diversity. We see huge groups of spotted eagle rays, Caribbean reef sharks, and some enormous goliath groupers! It is truly amazing to have eyes on such a unique research facility.
